As my eyewear collection grows, I can't help but think of a very special pair that inspire me still today. I had a small collection of the classics... including a couple pairs of Ray Bans and a few vintage sunglasses that I had found at various thrift shops. I had just graduated from Parsons... I was finding my way in the industry as a designer and decided to reward myself with a very special, very unique pair of sunnies. These enamel floral embellished sunglasses from Prada were my first high-end designer gift to myself. I normally only splurge on vintage or consignment, but this pair was just too beautiful to pass up. Such a sentimental pair for so many reasons.
